Civil Field Photos
Data deletion

Delete your app data

Civil Field Photos has no user accounts or login. Photos, projects, and settings stay on your device, while limited subscription and support information may be processed off-device as described below.

Delete data stored on your device

Open Settings → Data management in the App, select Clear all app data, and confirm. This permanently deletes the following from the App:

  • Projects, photos, captions, tags, and annotations.
  • Watermarks, logos, GPS overlays, and project settings.

App preferences are reset to their defaults at the same time. The action cannot be undone.

You can also remove all local App data by deleting or uninstalling the App. Files you previously exported, shared, saved to your photo library, or included in an iCloud or Google backup are controlled by those destinations and are not deleted by this action.

Manage or cancel a subscription

Clearing App data or uninstalling the App does not cancel an active subscription. Use the App's Settings → Manage option, or manage the subscription directly through:

  • iPhone or iPad: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.
  • Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions.

Apple and Google retain their own purchase and subscription records under their policies. Denison Systems does not receive your payment card details and cannot delete records controlled by those stores.

Request deletion of limited off-device information

You may ask us to delete support correspondence associated with your email address, and the RevenueCat customer record for your subscription where we can locate and verify it. RevenueCat uses a random, anonymous App User ID, so we will normally need a store transaction or order ID to identify the right record.

Deleting a RevenueCat record does not cancel your subscription — cancel it through the App Store or Google Play as described above. Because the App has no login, there is nothing to sign out of: if your subscription is still active and you keep using the App, a new anonymous record is created the next time the App launches. You may also need to use Restore Purchases to regain Pro access.

Email a data deletion request

We respond within the period required by applicable law — generally one month for GDPR requests and 45 days for CCPA requests — and will tell you if we need an extension. We may retain information that is required for accounting, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our agreements. Never send us an Apple or Google password, authentication code, or payment-card details.

Retention and de-identified information

Support correspondence is normally retained for up to 24 months after the most recent message. Subscription records are retained while needed to validate access, provide support, prevent fraud, and meet legal or accounting obligations. Aggregated or de-identified website and store statistics that cannot reasonably be associated with you are not deleted in response to an individual request.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, or receive a portable copy of personal information we control. See our Privacy Policy or contact support@civilfieldphotos.com.
