Learn the whole workflow in a few minutes.
Short narrated walkthroughs of everything Civil Field Photos does — from your first project to a branded PDF you can hand a client. Watch before you head out, or on site when you need a refresher.
Getting started
Open the app, create a project, and give it a name. Then tour the sample project — the gallery runs newest first with timestamps and color-coded tags, and any photo opens to show its full location overlay.
Annotate and measure
Work the editor toolbar on a site photo: drop an arrow, place a text note, and draw a real dimension line — enter the value in feet, feet-and-inches, or meters and it's labeled right on the photo. Undo and redo let you experiment freely.
The photo map
See a pin for every located photo in a project, laid over the real site. Tap one for its capture time, coordinates, and street address, correct a drifted pin with Edit location, or flip on Aerial for satellite imagery.
Overlay and appearance settings
Switch between the light and dark themes, then size the location overlay and set how dark the panel behind it sits. That one setting drives the camera preview and every export, so your photos and reports always match.
